“Everything was very nice!”

“The staff was very friendly! Location was perfect for our trip destinations. But, for a hotel that said "recently renovated" on its main web page, the place seemed to need a little more love: the room was mostly clean. The paint/doors had scuffs from many guests. The AC was loud, but worked well. Tub had a few stray hairs in it and a ring of dirt near the faucet, which came up easily with a Clorox wipe I packed with me. “Good things first: The rooms were clean and free from bugs. The air conditioning worked as well and wasn't too loud. The breakfast buffet was standard but adequate. The pool/spa was completely empty and being used as a storage location for spare parts, furniture, and appliances. Some reviews mentioned this but the property is still advertised as having a pool. This needs to change. A side door leading outside the property had to be closed in just the right way in order to lock and was……

“There was a funky smell to the room one night and they offered to bring up air freshener. It cleared by morning. Our tub didn’t feel particularly safe for showers. The tub sloped and there wasn’t much grippy coating left on the bottom for balance on a slippery tub bottom. Breakfast was ok but the ice machine was wicked loud if you sat by it.”

“The house has everything one needs. It's a very cozy place, but a bit too small for my taste. Once the couch is opened up and the bed is out there is very little room left. The deck is nice, but fully exposed to the sun the whole day, so it gets very hot, and the house also. Although the outside temps weren't quite at summer levels, I needed to run the A/C the whole day to keep it comfy. It's pretty c;lose to a busy road, so one hears the road noise. However,I liked the general location. ……
